....? No Idea What's Going On In My Head

I have no idea why I have decided to post something today. I have nothing of value to say and quite frankly my life at this time is going well and uneventful. These are the types of days where I can sit back and really reflect on how good I have it here at home. There are many days where I complain, whine and almost can't seem to find the strength to get out of bed but then I think of all those less fortunate and become grateful for what I have.

I actually have no idea why I just wrote about that ha ha ha! I think the story that my mom told me on the porch today hit me hard. My mom was getting her toes done yesterday at a nail salon when the girl massaging her feet starting portraying her life story. Everything she said to my mother was meaningful, but heart wrenching and even then she was so proud that she was able to call herself canadian.
uggg.
I need a smoke.

First Video Blog...

New York Minute

All I wish to accomplish today in this entry is to just state that this past weekend was an absolute blast! I went to New York City with my sister, mom and a few other friends. I've never experienced something quite like new york before. Everything was at such a fast pace, they really do mean it when they say "nothing is like a new york minute".
I sat in cafes, people watched, shopped, I ate incredible food, hung out with my family, laughed and went to breath taking areas. The city is something I think everyone at least once in their life time needs to see. Within each block of the city was a new face and higher, more spectacular buildings to see. New York is another world I had yet to discover. It was rich with culture and seemed to breathe art. I can't wait to go back and bring some of my European friends.

Freak Out!

Oh my god...
For some apparent reason last I had another anxiety attack. I kept thinking "what if i didn't look at the proper website when purchasing my ticket! What if I have to apply for a Visa and I didn't even know it?!".
Basically I slept no longer then 4 hours. As soon as I woke up I ran to my computer and researched. I was sweating, my stomach was upset and I could feel my throat closing up if I had to apply for a visa this late. I finally find the consulate of France and his building is in Toronto. I scanned through his website and found that you can stay in France up to 90 days without a visa as long as you AREN'T from one of the countries listed and you are a resident of Canada. I have never been so relieved in my life. To think about getting a visa all ready and started now would be so wrong. I leave 3 months from now, I've heard horror stories with visas that it takes months to get them back and I don't have that kind of time....
BUT I'm glad that everything worked out and I'm still ok for staying in France for the amount of time I wanted to!!
I've noticed a lot lately that I've been having these attacks...Like anxiety attacks...I have no clue why but they literally take over my body and render me. Some times I feel nauseous, light headed, extremely tired or I'll sweat. Ha ha ha pretty gross eh? I think it's just my nerves and I know that I'll get over it. I have to do...Well I have to do a lot of things actually in the next year...Go to school and buy a car. Wow plus I'm going to be 21!!!
Isn't that insane?!
Anyways I'm out...I kinda want some coffee.

SPRING!!!!!!

What a beautiful day in the sun. I spent the past two days riding the bus and supporting the transit system of my lovely city. I also was able to speak with one of my closest friends today, my exchange student. I think when the sun is shining it speaks words of it's own. Everyone is out and about feeling the warmth and breathing in the spring air. Waking up and seeing the sunshine gives me faint hope that my trip is finally starting to come into view.
First comes spring and then...Well that's what i'll have to write about later hahaha.
